In just a matter of time i'll be making the big move to the other side of the world - London to embark on an adventure of a life time!
Now I need to take you back a while to explain how this all came about..

Now I need to take you back a while to explain how this all came about..
Go back to June 2013...
I was in my 2nd year of Uni trying to decide if I should study abroad during my final year or finish in Australia, at the same time I found out a family friend was heading to London to work in hospitality the following year. So I had a thought of why not apply for an internship abroad, loving London ever since I went when I was 16, why go anywhere else! Eventually I came across an agency called Absolute Internships offering a range of fields to work in, offering 1-2 month internships, accommodation and heaps more, sounded pretty good! Months passed and I hadn't given it another thought until the following year (2014), when we had teachers down our necks saying "you need to apply for jobs now", so I started getting my butt into gear and looked for jobs - trying to decide where I should go, or what to do.
Now skip to Jan 2015...
After finishing Uni and trying to decide what to do with my life, the thought of this Internship Program was still hanging around, plus the need to travel again was increasing again, after just coming home from a trip to Phuket, Thailand. So, I visited their website again and went through it thoroughly, seeing what exactly they offer, the cost, living arrangements etc. It sounded too good to be true! I ummed and ahhed about it for days and it wasn't until one night I was laying in bed pondering about where my life was going and made a decision... I'm applying!! It wasn't going to hurt, if I got in awesome, if I didn't well at least I knew I gave it a shot. The next day it all started.. I applied on a Wednesday, had an interview Friday and was accepted into the program on Monday! WTF I'm moving to London!!
I ended up scoring a marketing/advertising assistant internship with a company called Viewsy, it's a retail version of google analytics. They produce a product that they sell to retail stores which can track mobile phone signals in a store to see which area they spend the most time in, their customer loyalty to the brand, how often they pass the store, if they purchase items within.. Its crazy awesome!
So now we're here.. Still in disbelief that I’m actually going - I'm waiting for the day I board my plane and someone yells HA! You're not actually going!! But anyyyyy way in just no time at all i'll be boarding a big jet plane not knowing the next time I’ll be on Australian soil.
It's time to take over London! Eeeeeek!
